Type of Course: This is elective course offered in 3rd semester for BA Programme.
Course Description: This course will teach students about modern literary movements beginning from late nineteenth century and this will cover Renaissance topics, Hindi Romanticism, mysticism, Prayogwaad and Progressive Movement known as Pragativaad in Hindi. A section of classics maha-kavya ‘Bhart-Bharti’ written by Maithali Sharan Gupt has been chosen for interpretation and critical enquiry of revivalist trend during freedom movement.
